Zach is a Project Finance and Supply Chain professional with nearly a decade of experience (2017–2026) in offshore construction and renewable energy, specializing in large-scale infrastructure delivery, commercial strategy, and operational buildout in emerging markets.
Since beginning his full-time career in 2017, Zach has been instrumental in the establishment and expansion of U.S. operations for a global offshore contractor. Starting in business development and tender engineering roles, he supported early-stage market entry efforts, including bid development, cost modeling, and strategic positioning for offshore wind and marine infrastructure projects. His early work contributed to securing and shaping major project opportunities in a nascent U.S. offshore wind market.
As the organization scaled, Zach transitioned into project finance and cost control, where he took ownership of significant portions of multi-billion-dollar offshore construction projects. In this capacity, he managed scopes exceeding $250 million, overseeing financial performance, forecasting, cost tracking, and commercial alignment across engineering, procurement, and operations. He developed and implemented reporting structures leveraging ERP systems, Power BI, and advanced Excel-based tools to drive transparency and executive decision-making.
Concurrently, Zach played a key role in building out the U.S. business infrastructure—working cross-functionally across finance, legal, HR, and supply chain to support the growth of the organization from a small startup presence to a fully operational entity with over 100 employees. His responsibilities extended beyond traditional finance functions, including involvement in vendor strategy, contract structuring, and capital asset evaluation for major offshore construction equipment.
More recently, Zach has transitioned into procurement and supply chain leadership, where he oversees complex sourcing and subcontracting activities across the Americas. His work includes managing high-value vendor negotiations, aligning technical and commercial requirements, and ensuring contract execution across critical project scopes. He brings a hybrid perspective that integrates financial discipline with operational execution, positioning him to drive value across the full project lifecycle.
In parallel with project execution, Zach has contributed to industry advancement initiatives, including serving as a principal researcher on a government-supported program focused on developing domestic offshore wind supply chains. His work has supported U.S.-based manufacturing, workforce development, and long-term industry sustainability.
Zach holds a Master’s degree in Business from Texas A&M University’s Mays Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies. With experience across the United States and Europe, he brings a global, execution-focused perspective to complex energy and infrastructure projects.
